This chapter establishes procedures and standards to be followed by the division of soil conservation and water quality, department of agriculture and land stewardship, in accordance with the policies of the state soil conservation and water quality committee in implementing the Iowa Soil 2000 Program goal of satisfactorily controlling erosion on all Iowa land. It also establishes standards and guidelines which the soil and water conservation districts will use in fulfilling their responsibilities under this program.
