The review and compliance program implements state historic preservation program activities to advise and assist public (federal, state, and local government) agencies in carrying out their historic preservation responsibilities broadly described and established under the National Historic Preservation Act, particularly Sections 106 and 110, as well as other state and federal historic preservation laws and regulations.
