The deputy director of the department of corrections may investigate charges of abuse, neglect, or mismanagement on the part of a judicial district department of correctional services and its employees. The deputy director may request the director of the department to exercise authority pursuant to Iowa Code sections 904.402 to 904.405.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code sections 904.402 to 904.405.
