Donations of money, books, games, recreation equipment or other such gifts shall be made directly to the warden or the warden's designee. The warden or the warden's designee shall evaluate the donation in terms of the nature of the contribution to the institution program. The warden or the warden's designee is responsible for accepting the donation and reporting the gift to the institutional deputy director on a monthly basis.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 904.113.
