Rule 201-20.7 - Interviews and statements

(1) When incarcerated individuals are selected to be interviewed and photographed within the institution, either individually or as part of a group, identifiable interviews or pictures shall have the written consent of the incarcerated individual involved as well as prior consent of the warden or designee.

(2) The warden is responsible for all communications with mass media.

This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 904.108(1)"k."
