Rule 193F-1.21 - [Effective until 5/22/2024] National criminal history check

All applicants for any of the classifications listed in 193F-1.17(543D), including an applicant seeking to upgrade from a certified residential credential to a certified general credential, must satisfactorily complete a state and national criminal history check as a condition of registration as an associate real property appraiser, certification as a residential, or certification as or upgrade to a general real property appraiser. The applicant shall authorize release of the results of the criminal history check to the board. If the criminal history check was not completed within 180 calendar days prior to the date the license application is received by the board, the board may perform a new state and national criminal history check or may reject and return the application to the applicant. The background check fee is specified in 193F-Chapter 12.
