Rule 193B-2.8 - Application denial

An application may be denied on the grounds provided in Iowa Code chapter 544A and in rule 193-7.39 (546,272C). The administrative processing of an application shall not prevent the later initiation of a contested case to challenge a licensee's qualifications for licensure. The board may also deny a license on the grounds of submitting a false statement or submission of material fact on an application for licensure.
