The division may use an independent expert to review whether a care fund or a perpetual care cemetery is in compliance with Iowa Code chapter 5231 and this chapter. Costs of the independent expert review shall be borne by the perpetual care cemetery.
These rules are intended to implement Iowa Code chapter 5231 as amended by 2016 Iowa Acts, House File 2394.
