Rule 191-25.8 - Violation and penalties

(1) Any insurance producer or insurer found after hearing to have violated a provision of this chapter shall be deemed to have committed an unfair trade practice under Iowa Code chapter 507B and shall be subject to the penalties set forth in Iowa Code chapters 505 and 507B.

(2) Any insurance producer or insurer found after hearing to have violated a provision of this chapter will be reported by the commissioner pursuant to, and may be subject to, the penalties set forth in Section 10(d) of the Military Personnel Financial Services Protection Act, Pub. L. No. 109-290 (2006).
