Rule 191-13.1 - Purpose and authority

The purpose of these rules is to implement the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Section 1033 and Iowa Code section 522B.16B. The Iowa insurance commissioner has jurisdiction under 18 U.S.C. Section 1033 to grant requests for consent to engage in the business of insurance.
