Subject to the right to convey a suspended establishment under Iowa Code section 123.39, no beer, wine, or liquor can be sold or consumed in an establishment during a suspension period. An establishment may be open during a suspension period to conduct lawful business other than the sale of liquor, wine, and beer as long as no liquor, wine, or beer is sold or consumed during the suspension period.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 123.39.
