Rule 185-4.17 - Prohibited storage of alcoholic beverages

No licensee shall permit alcoholic beverages, purchased under authority of a retail alcohol license, to be kept or stored upon any premises other than those licensed. However, under special circumstances, the administrator may authorize the storage of alcoholic beverages on premises other than those covered by the license. The administrator may allow class "D" retail alcohol licensees to store alcoholic liquor and wine in a bonded warehouse to be used for consumption in Iowa, under the authority of a class "D" retail alcohol license.

This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code sections 123.4 and 123.10(11).
