Rule 185-3.8 - Action on petition

(1)Agency action. Within the time allowed by Iowa Code section 17A.9(5) after receipt of a petition for a declaratory order, the administrator or designee shall take action on the petition as required by Iowa Code section 17A.9(5).

(2)Issuance of order. The date of issuance of an order or of a refusal to issue an order is as defined in contested case rule 185-10.2 (17A).
