Rule 161-8.53 - [Effective until 9/25/2024] Discriminatory wages(1) The employer's wage schedules must not be related to or based on the sex of the employees.(2) The employer may not discriminatorily restrict one sex to certain job classifications. The employer must take steps to make jobs available to all qualified employees in all classifications without regard to sex.Iowa Admin. Code r. 161-8.53
