Sec. 1.
(a) Any person may appear before the commission, or presiding officer on his or her own behalf, or by an attorney admitted to practice and in good standing before the bar of any of the United States or the District of Columbia.(b) A complainant may appear before the commission, or presiding officer, in person, by an attorney, or by a legal intern pursuing an education in a legal institution and engaged in a program certified by the supreme court of Indiana. In lieu of the options provided in this subsection, the case in support of the complaint may be presented by the commission's staff attorney. In such case, the commission's staff attorney represents the public interest and does not enter into an attorney-client relationship with a complainant.
