Section 828 IAC 0.5-1-7 - "Deep sedation" defined

Sec. 7.

"Deep sedation" means a controlled state of consciousness, accompanied by a partial loss of protective reflexes, including inability to respond purposefully to verbal command, produced by a pharmacologic method.
