Section 80 IAC 8-2-2 - Duties; specifications

Sec. 2.

(a) The contracts and purchasing departments shall prepare, issue, revise, maintain, and monitor the use of specifications for supplies.

(b) Specifications must:

(1) promote overall economy for the purposes intended; and

(2) encourage competition in satisfying the commission's needs.
