Sec. 9.
(a) The commissioner or any person appointed by the commissioner shall have the power to examine the affairs of any registered risk pool, or an applicant for registration, and for such purposes shall have free access to all the books, records, and documents that relate to the business of the plan and may examine under oath its:(1) trustees or directors;(5) employees; in relation to the affairs, transactions, and conditions of the risk pool. The costs and expenses of the examination shall be paid by the risk pool. The examination shall be conducted in accordance with IC 27-1-3.1 and may cover financial or market conduct issues.
(b) Each risk pool must: (1) have and maintain a place of business in Indiana; and(2) make available to the commissioner complete records of its:(C) affairs; in accordance with such methods and systems as are customary for or suitable to the kind or kinds of business transacted.
