Section 71 IAC 3-5-1 - General authority

Sec. 1.

The horse identifier shall be present for each race. He or she shall inspect each horse prior to its departure from the paddock to the post to confirm the horse's proper identity by checking the horse's:

(1) lip tattoo number or freeze brand; and

(2) color; and

(3) markings.
