Sec. 4.
(a) Amend Section 301.3, Listed and labeled, to delete the text and insert to read as follows: Appliances regulated by this code shall be listed and labeled unless otherwise approved.(b) Delete Section 301.4, in its entirety without substitution.(c) Amend Section 305.1 by deleting, from the last line, "and the requirements determined by the code official" and inserting "or other approved methods".(d) Amend Section 310.1.1 by adding an exception to read as follows: Exception: CSST with an arc-resistant jacket listed by an approved agency for installation without the direct bonding as, prescribed in this section shall be installed in accordance with its listing and the manufacturer's installation instructions.
