Sec. 4.
(a) Before issuance of a design release for conversion of a building under this rule, the division shall cause the building to be inspected with regard to the existing condition and proposed construction or alterations work. The inspection fee established in 675 IAC 12-3-11 is established for inspections under this rule. The inspection fee shall be paid to the fire and building services fund before any inspection.(b) Inspection of work in progress shall be performed by local units of government that require conformance with the building rules of the commission.
