Section 655 IAC 4-3-28 - Swift Water Rescue-Technician

Sec. 28.

(a) The certification standard for Swift Water Rescue-Technician shall be as set forth in Section 18.3 of the NFPA 1006, Standard for Technical Rescue Personnel Professional Qualifications, 2021 edition.

(b) To qualify for entry into a certification course based on the certification standard described in subsection (a), an individual must hold a certification in:

(1) Swift Water Rescue-Operations;

(2) Rope Rescuer-Technician; and

(3) Surface Water Rescuer-Technician.
