Sec. 46.
(a) The front of the bus must have two (2) amber turn signals that meet FMVSS 108.(b) One (1) or two (2) fog lamps are permitted. Fog lamps must:(1) be permanently mounted on the front bumper;(2) measuring from the center of each lamp, be twelve (12) to thirty (30) inches above the ground when measured from the center of each lamp;(3) if two (2) lamps are used, each be placed not more than fifteen (15) inches from the center of the front bumper;(4) adjust vertically and horizontally;(5) adequately illuminate the area in front of the bus;(6) including all wiring, meet the Society of Automotive Engineers standards for "Electric Head Lamps for Motor Vehicles" or "Sealed Beam Lamp Units for Motor Vehicles"; and(7) be controlled by an independent switch and powered by an independent fuse or breaker, or both.(c) A driver may use a system to indicate whether the bus lights are working correctly as long as the system does not monitor only the electrical currents and whether the current is traveling to a lamp. The system must be accessible from the driver's seat.
