Section 50 IAC 5.1-2-2 - Property subject to assessment

Sec. 2.

The property owned or used by a public utility company is subject to assessment according to this rule. Property that is used by the public utility company under an agreement whereby the public utility company exercises the beneficial rights of ownership for a major part of a year is assessed to the public utility company. Leased property may be subject to assessment to the public utility company, see 50 IAC 5.1-10.
