Section 470 IAC 3-4.7-142 - Infant room size

Sec. 142.

(a) Each newly licensed infant room under this rule shall have a minimum of fifty (50) square feet of usable space per child. This space is exclusive of storage areas, entryways, lockers, and floor area occupied by built-in cabinets.
(b) Any infant room shall have a minimum of thirty-five (35) square feet of usable space per child provided that the same room remains licensed for infants. This space is exclusive of storage areas, entryways, lockers, and floor area occupied by permanent built-in cabinets.
