Sec. 47.
(a) The licensee shall provide and maintain screens for windows and exterior doors when windows and doors are kept open for ventilation.(b) The licensee shall ensure that the child care home has hot and cold running water and at least one (1) toilet and sink accessible to children on each floor of the home where services are provided. Water from a source other than a regular municipal water supply shall be tested annually for compliance with water quality requirements.(c) Direct child care providers shall wash and sanitize all food preparation areas, serving areas, and utensils daily.(d) Caregiver shall keep garbage in containers with tight-fitting lids and remove it from the premises at least once a week. Waste paper need not be kept in a closed container.
