Sec. 40.
(a) Children admitted to a private secure facility shall: (1) be six (6) years of age or older; and(2) exhibit chronic behaviors that endanger themselves or others.(b) Admission policies shall be clearly defined and stated in writing.(c) The child caring institution shall obtain, prior to admission of a child, information about the child and family circumstances to determine whether care in the child caring institution is in the best interest of the child.
