Section 440 IAC 8-2-5 - Compulsive gambling addiction

Sec. 5.

An individual with a compulsive gambling addiction is a person who meets the following requirements:

(1) The individual is any age.

(2) The individual meets the criteria for Axis-1 diagnosis of pathological gambling under Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4^th edition, published by the American Psychiatric Association (DSM IV), Diagnosis 312.31, Pathological Gambling.

(3) The individual continues gambling behavior in spite of repetitive harmful consequences.
