Section 440 IAC 1.5-1-11 - "Seclusion" defined

Sec. 11.

"Seclusion" means the involuntary confinement of a consumer alone in a room or an area from which the consumer is physically prevented from leaving. Seclusion may be used only for the management of violent or self-destructive behavior.
