Section 410 IAC 7-24-39 - "Food processing plant" definedAuthority: IC 16-42-5-5

Sec. 39.
(a) "Food processing plant" means a commercial operation, such as: (1) a wholesale food establishment regulated under IC 16-42-5 and 410 IAC 7-21;(2) a dairy operation regulated under IC 15-2.1-23 [IC 15-2.1 was repealed by P.L. 2-2008, SECTION 83, effective July 1, 2008. See IC 15-18-1.] and 345 IAC 8; and(3) a meat and poultry operation regulated under IC 15-2.1-24 [IC 15-2.1 was repealed by P.L. 2-2008, SECTION 83, effective July 1, 2008. See IC 15-17-5.]; that manufactures, packages, labels, or stores food for human consumption and does not provide food directly to a consumer.
