Section 410 IAC 5-6.1-30 - "Contrast ratio" defined

Sec. 30.

As used in this rule, "contrast ratio" means the illumination inside the area three (3) mm from the edge of the light field (I₁), divided by the illumination outside the area three (3) mm from the edge of the light field (I₂). It is calculated using the following equation:

Contrast ratio = I₁/I₂
