Section 410 IAC 5-6.1-26 - "Coefficient of variation" defined

Sec. 26.

As used in this rule, "coefficient of variation" means the ratio of the standard deviation to the mean value of a population of observations. It is estimated using the following equation:

Where: C = Coefficient of variation

s = Estimated standard deviation of the population

X = Mean value of observations in sample

Xi = Value of the ith observation in sample

n = Number of observations in sample
