Sec. 11.5.
Permanent radiographic installations having high radiation area entrance controls of the type described in 410 IAC 5-4-11(c)(2)(ii) and (iii) and (c)(4) shall also meet the following requirements:
(a) Each entrance that is used for personnel access to the high radiation area shall have both visible and audible warning signals to warn of the presence of radiation. The visible signal shall be activated by radiation. The audible signal shall be activated when an attempt is made to enter the installation while the source is exposed.(b) The control device or alarm system shall be tested for proper operation at the beginning of each period of use.
