Sec. 16.
"Trauma center" means a hospital that provides trauma care and has been verified as a trauma center by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), has been designated a trauma center under a state designation system that is substantially equivalent to the ACS verification process, or has been deemed to be in the process of ACS verification pursuant to 836 IAC 1-2.1.
