Section 410 IAC 16.2-1.1-80 - "Transfer" defined

Sec. 80.

"Transfer" means moving between two (2) surfaces, to or from a:

(1) bed;

(2) chair;

(3) wheelchair; or

(4) standing position.

The term does not include transfer to or from the bath or toilet. This section does not apply to transfer and discharge of residents pursuant to 410 IAC 16.2-3.1 and 410 IAC 16.2-5.
