Section 410 IAC 1-5-11.2 - "Intermediate level disinfection" defined

Sec. 11.2.

"Intermediate level disinfection" means a process that inactivates:

(1) Mycobacterium tuberculosis;

(2) vegetative bacteria;

(3) most viruses; and

(4) most fungi;

but does not necessarily kill bacterial spores.
