Section 410 IAC 1-2.5-25 - "Directly observed therapy" or "DOT" defined

Sec. 25.

"Directly observed therapy" or "DOT" means an intervention by which medication administration is observed by a health care professional or trained third party (not a relative or friend) being administered directly to the patient and documents that the patient ingest each dose of medication.
