Sec. 13.
(a) The services reimbursable as peer support services must be: (1) provided face-to-face;(3) scheduled activities that promote all of the following:(D) Development of natural supports.(E) Maintenance of community living skills.(b) The provider agency staff member delivering services under this section must meet one (1) of the following qualifications:(1) The office training and competency standards for a certified recovery specialist.(2) Be an individual under the supervision of a:(A) licensed professional; or(c) At a minimum, the services provided under this section must include components that: (1) assist members with: (A) developing IICPs; and(B) other formal mentoring activities aimed at increasing the active participation of members in person-centered planning and delivery of individualized services;(2) assist members with the development of psychiatric advanced directives;(3) support members in problem-solving related to reintegration into the community; and(4) provide education to members and promote the recovery process and anti-stigma activities.(d) The following services are not reimbursable under this section:(1) Services provided in group settings.(2) Activities billable under home and community-based habilitation services.(3) Care coordination services.Office of the Secretary of Family and Social Services; 405 IAC 5-21.6-13; filed Dec 16, 2013, 9:11 a.m.: 20140115-IR-405130183FRAFiled 8/1/2016, 3:44 p.m.: 20160831-IR-405150418FRAReadopted filed 7/28/2022, 2:21 p.m.: 20220824-IR-405220205RFAReadopted filed 5/30/2023, 11:54 a.m.: 20230628-IR-405230292RFA
