Section 405 IAC 5-21.6-1 - General provisions

Sec. 1.

The intent of this rule is to provide home and community-based treatment options to individuals with serious mental illness who may benefit most from a habilitation approach to care to assist in maintaining the individual in the community. Eligibility for services and the provision of services are based upon an individual's meeting specific AMHH needs-based criteria. AMHH services will be:

(1) provided through a state plan; and

(2) delivered by service provider agencies meeting specific state-defined criteria.
