Section 405 IAC 2-6-1 - Medical assistance for individuals 18, 19, and 20 years of age

Sec. 1.

(a) An individual eighteen (18), nineteen (19), or twenty (20) years of age who meets the criteria established in 42 CFR 435.220, as revised and effective on October 1, 1991, is eligible for medical assistance.
(b) The income eligibility determination for such person shall be based upon those income standards established for the assistance to families with dependent children program in accordance with 470 IAC 10.1-3-3[ 470IAC 10.1-3-3 was repealedfiled Aug 26, 1987, 11:00 a.m.: 11 IR 90. See 470IAC 10.1-3-3.1 ].
(c) The budgeting methodologies established for the assistance to families with dependent children program in accordance with 470 IAC 10.1-3-4 shall apply to this rule.
(d) The income and resources of the applicant or recipient and that of his or her parents living in the home with the applicant or recipient are considered in determining the individual's eligibility.
