Section 345 IAC 2.5-1-4 - "Affected herd" defined

Sec. 4.

"Affected herd" means a herd of livestock in which there is strong and substantial evidence that Mycobacterium bovis exists that may include, without limitation, the following:

(1) Epidemiologic evidence.

(2) Histopathology.

(3) Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay.

(4) Bacterial isolation or detection.

(5) Testing data.

(6) Association with known sources of infection.
