Sec. 3.
(a) Waste that is hot, or capable of generating heat in combination with other wastes or water, such that the heat may adversely affect: (1) routine solid waste disposal operations;(2) the structure of the MSWLF unit or non-MSWLF unit; or(3) human health; must be managed in accordance with this section, as applicable.
(b) The waste must be cooled or allowed to cool to a temperature that will not adversely affect:(1) routine solid waste disposal operations;(2) the structure of the MSWLF unit or non-MSWLF unit; or(3) human health; prior to shipment for disposal.
