Sec. 6.
(a) Salvaging on-site at a restricted waste site Type III or a construction/demolition site must be completed only under the supervision of the owner or operator and must not interfere with the facility operations.(b) Salvaged materials must be stored in buildings or transportable containers while awaiting removal from the facility. Alternative methods of storing salvaged materials must have prior approval from the commissioner. Approval may be granted at the request of the owner or operator, if the owner or operator can demonstrate that the alternative method will provide a comparable level of environmental protection.
