Sec. 5.6.
(a) This section establishes a special boating zone in Fulton County on Lake Manitou.(b) A person must not operate a boat with other than an electric trolling motor or paddle in an area commonly known as the Prairie, bounded by buoys designating the boundary of the restricted zone:(1) beginning at SPC 2114452 (UTM 4544874) north and SPC 185170 (UTM 568503) east;(2) continuing in a westerly direction to the point at SPC 2114363 (UTM 4544844) north and SPC 184604 (UTM 568331) east;(3) continuing in a northwest direction to the point at SPC 2114622 (UTM 4544921) north and SPC 184240 (UTM 568219) east;(4) continuing in a northerly direction to the point at SPC 2115393 (UTM 4545156) north and SPC 184258 (UTM 568221) east;(5) continuing in a northeast direction to the point at SPC 2115872 (UTM 4545305) north and SPC 184899 (UTM 568414) east;(6) continuing in an easterly direction to the point at SPC 2115639 (UTM 4545237) north and SPC 185472 (UTM 568590) east;(7) continuing in a southerly direction to the point at SPC 2114954 (UTM 4545028) north and SPC 185493 (UTM 568599) east; and(8) then in southwest direction to the point of beginning identified in subdivision (1).(c) Boats may not anchor within the restricted zone.(d) In order to be effective, a zone established under this section must include buoys placed on site under 312 IAC 5-4.(e) The coordinates used in subsection (b) have the meaning set forth in IC 32-19-1-1, 312 IAC 1-1-27.5, and 312 IAC 1-1-29.3 and referenced as "SPC" and "UTM".Natural Resources Commission, 312 IAC 5-6-5.6; filed Jun 16, 2009, 2:40 p.m.: 20090715-IR-312080756FRA; Readopted filed 7/17/2014, 3:46 p.m.: 20140813-IR-312140067RFAReadopted filed 9/16/2020, 8:15 a.m.: 20201014-IR-312200355RFAFiled 1/14/2021, 2:50 p.m.: 20210210-IR-312200287FRA
