Section 312 IAC 29-2-50 - "Dry hole" defined

Sec. 50.

"Dry hole" means an uncased exploratory or development well for oil and gas purposes that the owner or operator determines is:

(1) incapable of producing oil, gas, or coal bed methane in sufficient quantities to justify completion of the well as a production well; or

(2) otherwise unsuitable for its intended use.
