Sec. 5.
(a) An appointing authority may at any time assign an employee from one (1) position to another position in the same class under the appointing authority's jurisdiction.(b) An appointing authority, with the director's approval, may at any time transfer an employee to another class with essentially the same basic qualifications and salary range.(c) With the director's approval, an employee may transfer from the jurisdiction of one (1) appointing authority to another appointing authority. A promotion or demotion may be simultaneous with a transfer.
