Section 31 IAC 5-12-1 - Demotion

Sec. 1.

An appointing authority or his or her designee may demote an employee by presenting the employee with written notice of demotion, a copy of which shall be filed with the director. If the employee is not available, written notice shall be sent to the employee's last known address.
