Sec. 6.
(a) A licensed professional geologist must protect, to the fullest possible extent, the interest of an employer or client so far as is consistent with the public health and safety and the licensed professional geologist's legal, professional, and ethical obligations.(b) A licensed professional geologist who has made an investigation for an employer or client must not seek to profit economically from the information gained or resources used without a good faith effort to notify the employer or client of his or her intentions.
