Section 210 IAC 8-6-40 - Sexual assault investigation

Sec. 40.

(a) Written policy, procedure, and practice provide that an immediate investigation is initiated and documented whenever a sexual assault is alleged, threatened, or occurs. The alleged victim shall be kept safe. Housing assignments of either the alleged offender or victim may be modified during the course of the investigation.

(b) This is a mandatory standard.
