Section 170 IAC 4-5-11 - Submeter tests upon application to commission; fee

Sec. 11.

Submeter Tests upon Application to the Commission. Upon application of any tenant to the commission, a test may be made of the tenant's submeter. The application for such test shall be accompanied by a fee of fifteen dollars. If the submeter tests within the accuracy standards for self-contained watt-hour meters as established by the ANSI C12.1-1982, the fee shall be turned over to the owner; if the test shows the meter to exceed the standards, then the fifteen dollars paid by the tenant shall be refunded to said tenant by the commission.
